Constructed of quality T304 austenitic stainless steel, this engineered performance exhaust has the ultimate corrosion resistance. Music to the ears, the exhaust tone incorporates the right sound enhancements at all RPMs. Manufactured by Borla® for GMC, this performance exhaust system is the ONLY one which includes a self actuating mechanical valve which is engineered to eliminate "droning" when the vehicle enters Active Fuel Management (AFM). AFM, formerly known as Displacement on Demand, allows the engine to "turn off" half of the cylinders under light-load conditions to improve fuel economy. Although great for fuel economy, the 4-cylinder mode can cause a droning sound as a side effect without a tuned exhaust. This performance Cat-Back exhaust system is designed to help eliminate this effect. NOT for use with GMC Accessories rear splash guards. This system requires your choice of Borla bright chrome (19303347), black chrome (19303348) or carbon-fiber (19367179) exhaust tips that are available separately at additional cost. This Cat-Back Exhaust System by Borla is not compatible with other exhaust tips offered by GMC Accessories.
